Tender Description
The Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs (DCYJMA) is seeking to engage a supplier to review and update two practice guidelines for youth support services in Queensland funded under the Young People Funding Area.
Currently, service delivery for both initiatives is informed by two practice guides which are provided on the department’s website –
- YSS – Youth Support Practice Guide; and
- YHARS – Guidelines for Service Delivery: Youth Housing and Reintegration Service including After Care Service.
Both documents are dated and require updating to ensure they are contemporary and suitably able to be applied by all funded services, including those in regional and remote locations.
The following mandatory requirements are applicable to the Contract
- The Supplier is required to be currently funded by the Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs under the Young People Funding Area.
- The Supplier is required to comply with the Queensland Government’s Supplier Code of Conduct and the Queensland Government’s Ethical Supplier Threshold.
- Where the Supplier provides Internet-based services to enable delivery of Services under the Contract, the supplier must comply with the Queensland Information Privacy Act 2009 and Information Access and Use (IS33) as though they were a Queensland Government department or agency.
