Bushfire Fuel Load Assessment, Modelling and Risk Analysis

⁠⁠⁠The City of Onkaparinga is currently seeking the services of a vendor to undertake a bush fire fuel load assessment, bush fire modelling and consequence analysis project.

We are seeking an experienced and qualified vendor who can deliver a comprehensive analysis of the bush fire risk in our council area, including the assessment of fuel loads and the modelling of potential fire ignition, spread, intensity and consequences, including those from ember attack, flame, and radiant heat. The successful vendor will be required to provide a detailed report on their findings, including consequence risk analysis and recommendations for reducing the risk of bush fires in the area, considering ecological assets, especially threatened natural areas and vegetation associations. The data must be agnostic and transferable to ESRI platforms.

We invite you to submit a tender in response to this request. The tender should include your company’s experience, qualifications, and proposed approach to the project, as well as a detailed cost estimate for the services provided.

The deadline for submitting a tender is March 27, 2023. The City of Onkaparinga will carefully consider all submissions and will notify the successful vendor by April 14, 2023.
