Tender Description
PIRSA requires a suitable generator to provide backup power for the Sterile Fly Facility (SIT) in Barmera. The generator is required to power 14 refrigerated containers when the mains power fails. Power must be maintained to ensure conditions remain stable in the containers and the flies being reared remain alive. The SIT Facility will be operating for at least 12 months. Installation of the generator and a mains failure automatic transfer switch is also required.
