Chatham Islands Council - Water Tank Installation

⁠⁠⁠On behalf of Chatham Islands Council, we are testing market interest for potential providers that can install supplied water tanks for Chatham Islands Council. This is a rare and unique opportunity for a service provider to truly make a positive difference to the Chatham Island Council and the wider community in the Chatham’s.

We are looking for suppliers (Such as Contractors, Plumbers, Drainlayers, etc.) who are capable of transporting a supplied 30,000l tank to site, installing it, including connecting this tank to an existing house’s water supply. The contract is expected to include the install of up to 50 tanks.

The work will also involve an initial inspection in conjunction with Council staff, to inspect the proposed location for the tank, to check for the suitability of the tank bedding/platform.

This is a unique opportunity, it requires a can-do attitude in the face of a challenging locational, infrastructure and supply chain conditions.

Regular travel to, and time spent on the Island is essential.
