Tender Description
The George Bolton Swimming Centre's existing gas boiling water heating system has reached the end of its useful life and requires replacement. To achieve Council’s goal of becoming a carbon neutral organisation before 2030, Council has resolved to replace the existing boiler with electric heat pumps.
In preparation for the construction phase of this project, as well as the eventual installation of the new heat pumps, significant electrical infrastructure upgrades need to be performed, namely:
• Upgrade of electrical distribution board, including provision and installation.
• Creation of additional conduit paths between the site's electrical distribution board and the offsite transformer.
• Provision and installation of additional conduit and cable between the site's electrical distribution board and the offsite transformer.
• Commissioning of new infrastructure to newly upgraded transformer.
