Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Consultant organisations wishing to provide consulting services for engineering projects to Fremantle Port Authority (Fremantle Ports) are invited to submit application for pre-qualification status.

Fremantle Ports spends an average of $5M p.a. on engineering consulting services in support of its major assets and infrastructure.

The aim of the pre-qualification system is to classify consultants commensurate with their technical skills, available resources, and managerial capability to undertake services for Fremantle Ports projects. Services will be procured on an as-needed basis, subject to budget availability and based on the following buying rules:


Estimated value (including GST) ( $250,000 - direct source.

Note: The use of direct source is not compulsory.

Estimated value (including GST) )$250,000 - ($1M - limited invitations (two -three) across pre-qualified suppliers and based on category.

Estimated value (including GST) )$1M - Public tender.

No commitment of any kind whatsoever will arise between the parties until such time as a Purchase Order is issued by Fremantle Ports in relation to a particular service.

Each separate Purchase Order will constitute a new and entirely separate contract.

  • Marine Engineering (ME)
  • Geotechnical Engineering (GE)
  • Hazardous Materials and Contaminated Site Remediation (HME)
  • Cost Estimate & Quantity Survey (CEQS)
  • Economic Studies (ES)
  • Project and Operations Management including Change Management and Operational Readiness (POM)
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Financial/Commercial (FC)
  • Trade Planning and Modelling (TPM)
  • Other - Various (please specify)

Respondents are urged to complete submissions well in advance of the closing date and time, to allow sufficient time for electronic lodgement.
