Tender Description
Shoalhaven City Council is seeking contracted services to construct pedestrian beach access stairs to replace those which exist at the eastern most end of Ottawa Street, Cunjurong Point, NSW.
The works will involve the demolition of the existing timber stairs and construction of a new set of Fibreglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP) stairs within the relative existing footprint.
The toe of the new structure is to extend below normal beach level to cater for future erosion with footings to a suitable depth to minimise the potential for undermining.
