Tender Description
The Public Transport Authority (PTA) is seeking to upgrade the existing video recording system to a completely digital system, replacing the video recorders and the cameras.
The digital video recording system which is fitted to the diesel railcars used for the Prospector passenger service requires replacement. There are currently two systems fitted to each railcar of the fleet. One system records vision from cameras located throughout the train, displaying vision from the cameras and train location on a monitor for viewing by on train staff. The other system records vision from forward and rear facing cameras, as well as displaying and recording the train location and updating radio channels throughout the journey.
