Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a Hall Extension at Tinana SS, located at 239 Gympie Road, Tinana QLD 4650, as part of the School Subsidy program.

The extension of the existing building contains new store room and P&C room including covered verandas which comprise of inter alia new floor coverings, windows, doors, suspended ceiling, FC cladding, sheet cladding and concrete footpaths. The position of the building is at the front of the school with good site access and working space. All works are to be completed by May 2023.

Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:

• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works

• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1Mil

QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
