Nanga Bridge Repair and Maintenance Works

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Murray invites a suitably qualified and experienced organisations to tender for Nanga Road traffic Bridge 3566 Repairs and Maintenance works.

In August 2022 temporary emergency works including pier bracing and horizontal propping was undertaken to maintain bridge open to traffic under load limit of 4Tonne. Further emergency repairs are required to be undertaken to enable the bridge load posting to be removed.

The Shire of Murray is seeking Tenders to undertake both the emergency repairs and at the same time undertake the Routine and Preventative Maintenance to minimis ongoing disruption to the community with traffic management.

The intention is to award the contract to a single contractor to minimise bridge & road closures, however for financial management are seeking separable portions for emergency works and routine/preventative maintenance costs.
