Scope of Work:
Background:
Current tensioning of the boom belt requires application of portable hydraulic cylinders and portable HPU. When de-tensioning the belt it is insufficient to release the pressure from the cylinders. To move the pulley into the desired maintenance position, maintainers are currently pushing the pulley from the opposite side using portable jacks and wooden gluts.
Upgrade Design Criteria:
- Permanent double acting cylinders with portable or permanent HPU (tbd)
- On-site design verification
- Design for 5 Reclaimers at CLA/CLB
- Engineering Certification
- Safety in Design Report
- SWP Update
- Installation methodology & lift plans
