Temporary Labour Hire and Traineeships Program

⁠⁠⁠The City of Salisbury (the Council) invites Tender for Temporary Labour Hire and Traineeships Program (the Services). The Council will enter into a Panel Contract for Services with the successful Tenderers.

The scope of Temporary labour hire is intended to be broadly consistent with existing requirements, including but not limited to:

• Recruitment and selection of candidates to perform the Labour Service;
• Training of Placed Individuals;
• Provision of personal protective equipment;
• Payroll Administration;
• Provision of labour market knowledge and expertise;
• Performance management;
• Account Management; and
• Reporting

The scope for the Traineeships Program includes:

• Requirement for five Business Trainees for the FY22/23 Traineeship Program which is for an 18 month term. Each 18 months 5 Business Trainees enter into this program.
• Requirement for Seven Horticulture & Civil Construction Trainees (or other as determined appropriate trainees/apprentices) (Field Services) commencing in various FYs 22-23, 23-24, and 24-25 for a term of 3 years, each time a trainee completes their traineeship they are replenished with a new trainee.

Council is proposing an initial 3 years panel contract term with an option to extend for an additional 3 year term.
