Administration Building Steel Remediation Works North, South and West Elevation

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to perform abrasive blasting and repainting of external steel members and replacing roof, soffit and eave cladding and flashings. Works are to be performed on the north, south and west elevation of the Council Administration Building. Some external steel members can be removed from the building for recoating with the remaining requiring painting onsite.

Site Inspection: Tenderers are invited to attend a site inspection at Council Administration Building, main reception foyer, at 09.00am on either 6, 8, 13, or 15 June. Attendance to one site inspection is mandatory. Please RSVP with 24 hours notice to k.emmerick@cairns.qld.gov.au.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close two(2) days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.
