Taranaki Organic Materials Facility - Expressions of interest

⁠⁠⁠STDC is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) on behalf of the Project Partners, from interested and qualified parties with capability to locally manage some or all of the range of available organic materials from across the Taranaki Region. A Taranaki based processing facility and/or network, commencing receival and processing of organics from mid-2023, or a later date agreed between STDC and the interested parties, is the ultimate aim. This EOI process builds on work already undertaken, including engagement with Taranaki Iwi/Hapū as partners, and a feasibility study, both completed in early 2022. It also foreshadows key directions for the collection and processing of organics already indicated by the NZ Central Government.
