Alps 2 Ocean_Extreme Weather Event_Track Repair Works, July 2022

⁠⁠⁠a) Following the July 2022 storm event, the Alps to Ocean Cycle Trail (A2O) was assessed for damage to the track infrastructure. This resulted in the letting of two tenders. This one, CON888/1, is concerned primarily with the repair of the track, returning it to its original designed condition with some minor resilience work, such as upgrading of culverts. It is expected that the successful tenderer will be able to apply the most efficient solution to completing the required repairs. This includes the use of efficient, mobile teams that are able to relocate to the next work site with a minimum of cost and delay. Ability to programme and plan forward work, understanding requirements, such as TMP's, awareness of possible services when working in the road corridor and worksite access prior to work teams arriving on site is important for success.
