Corrective Services Industries (CSI) manufactures 11,000 meals per day for inmate consumption. Meals are produced in large batch runs and packaged in aluminum foil trays in individual portion sizes.
Aluminum foil trays are a very effective means of meal packaging that allows contents to be refrigerated, frozen, and reheated in line with safe food handling practices.
CSI is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from potential suppliers for the supply of 1.7 million smooth-wall trays to the Windsor Cook Facility for a period of six (6) months.
The material used is foil (Aluminium) which is safe to use in microwave ovens and resist temperature range -40C to 300C.
