Tender Description
Bounded by the Great Barrier Reef to the east and sandstone wilderness in the west, Livingstone Shire is located within the Fitzroy Region of Central Queensland and covers 11,800 square kilometres on the Capricorn Coast. The major urban townships of Yeppoon and Emu Park are where the majority of the population reside, our beautiful rural areas include Byfield, Cawarral, The Caves, Stanage, Marlborough, Glenlee and Glendale.
Council services a population of 36,000. Our major industries include retail, tourism, education and training, health care and social assistance, construction and agriculture.
Livingstone Shire Council invites Tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to perform cleaning, CCTV inspections, condition assessment and reporting, structural lining, and associated works on identified Council sewer infrastructure.
The scope of this project will incorporate two primary phases:
1. Cleaning and Relining of previously identified sewer infrastructure (Refer to Maps 4 to 11 and the excel spreadsheet for quantities); and
2. Cleaning, CCTV Inspection, Condition Assessment and Reporting to plan and prepare for future stages of relining works (Refer to Maps 1 to 3 and the excel spreadsheet for quantities).
Objective
Livingstone Shire Council is seeking responses to this Invitation to Tender for Rehabilitation of Sewer Mains & Access Chambers Tender No.2023.004 as per specification.
The purpose of this ITT process is to assess the ability of Tenderers to complete the Works, including in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards.
Council’s requirements in relation to the Works are set out in Section 2 of this Invitation (Technical Specification).
