Tender Description
Mid-Western Regional Council invites proposals from suitably qualified consultants to undertake the above Strategic Plan. The scope is to establish a strategy plan for footpath, cycling and shared pathways on existing and future network within Mudgee, Gulgong, Kandos and Rylstone addressing the requirements of all ages and abilities. Project must be completed by end of August 2023.
The Plan must include the following –
- ? Project scope
- ? Objectives
- ? Methodologies
- ? Pre-assessment study
- ? On ground survey investigation.
- ? Public consultations before and after proposed routes layout considering desired lanes.
- ? Field audits – must generate maps of the proposed routes based on onsite inspections and assessing underground services.
- ? Campaign and promotion of walking and cycling routes.
- ? Scope of design works based on proposed conceptual design and map.
- ? Estimation of cost for designing and carrying out the construction projects over ten years.
- ? Monitoring Program.
- ? Recommendation for future studies.
