Expression of Interest - Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange Agent Licence

⁠⁠⁠In the recent history of the NRLX, no market sounding process for Agent selling licences has occurred. An EOI allows for an impartial, open, and competitive process that ensures the businesses that derive commercial benefit from a community asset are of a standard acceptable to our community. The lack of previous procurement processes has led to a situation where the community is compelled to use the service of the current agencies that haven’t been scrutinised by a competitive market exercise. This approach will remove traditional entry barriers for potential new agencies.

This EOI process is for a three-year Agent Licence and sets the scope of the requirements for Livestock Agents to work from the Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange with seven (7) licences being offered to operate from 1 July 2023.
