Commercial use of Council land in Logan Gardens

⁠⁠⁠Logan City Council (Council) is seeking Tenderers for the establishment of a commercial activation project within the Logan Gardens, Logan Central (the Park). Council will offer a commercial lease, licence and/or permit arrangement over a section of the Park for the purpose of a nature-based and/or recreational tourism activity which could include a cafe/mobile coffee van.

Council is seeking Tenderers that can provide one or both of the below:

- Separable Portion 1- Nature-based and/or recreational tourism operation

- Separable Portion 2- Cafe/mobile coffee van business or similar

Tenderers can also provide response for both Separable Portion 1 and 2 as a single operation, with cafe integrated.

Council will identify the successful operator by way of a two-stage tender process.

The first stage of the tender process (Stage 1) requires Tenderers to make a submission based on information outlined in this Stage 1 brief

Following evaluation of Stage 1 submissions, Council propose to shortlist Tenderers, seek a tender based on a brief to be released for Stage 2, and enter into a commercial lease, licence and/or permit arrangement with the successful Tenderer.

ENQUIRIES:

Any questions and responses shall be collated, documented and distributed to all tenderers to ensure equity and fairness to all respondents.

Furthermore, all enquiries in relation to this tender must be submitted via the our etendering portal . The final date for accepting questions regarding this two staged tender via the Online Forum, is 5:00pm Tuesday 21st February 2023. Any questions after this date will not receive a response..

ONLINE TENDER BRIEFING SESSION:

An online tender briefing session will be held for prospective tenderers on Wednesday 18 January 2023, via MS Teams commencing at 1:00pm.

Attendance at the online tender briefing session is not mandatory, however recommended to assist tenderers in understanding how to complete their submissions.

Tenderers are to send through the names of those wishing to attend the online briefing to tendering@logan.qld.gov.au by 5pm Monday 16th January. Once registered, a link will be provided to join the session.
