Tender Description
Rural Economic Development Grants provide funding to organisations and businesses to carry out projects which generate economic and employment opportunities related to primary production across rural and remote Queensland.
Eligible projects must:
- be primary production related, including the development of new products or markets
- generate jobs
- provide value for money and significant economic benefit to a rural area.
The funding may be used for certain activities related to the project, including but not limited to:
- capital expenditure on buildings, plant and equipment
- purchase of consumables
- travel and accommodation
- training costs and technical support
- salary and on-costs for staff working solely on the project.
