Tender Description
The Works include the following:
.1 Inspect and remove damaged or outdated electrical wiring / components throughout the building and the roof cavity. Inspect / upgrade existing electrical mains board as required to ensure compliance.
.2 Supply and install plaster board, including architraves and skirting boards in areas where asbestos has previously been removed.
.3 Supply Install internal roof plasterboard, in areas where asbestos has previously been removed.
.4 Remove double bi-fold access doors on the eastern side of the building. Supply and Install 2100mm lightweight sliding double access door that is wheelchair compliant. Door handle compliant to minimum handle dimensions outlined in AS 1428.1. D Shape handle easy to unlock or lock as required. The door must have visual indicators in the form of glazing. Handrail fitted on external wall approaching the door, and Door fitted with handrail on the internal side of the door.
.5 Supply and install 1 x 10kw air conditioning unit in main building.
.6 Kitchen -Stainless steel benches with under bench shelf. Stainless steel back splash, or at least 1 tile high along length of both bench tops. (tiles provide by council). Double sink, with medium height chrome mixer taps. Replace old and Install new stainless centre bench. Replace existing kitchen shutters with bifold shutters.
.7 Replace weather boards on external walls where asbestos sheeting has been removed.
.8 Check alignment of all doors and windows to ensure functioning after building has been levelled, repair any doors or windows that are not opening or closing with ease.
.9 Supply and install new door locks to the buildings external doors to align with Council E-CLIQ ASSAY ABLOY electronic keying system. (a commercial cylinder mortice lock is required for E-CLIQ)
.10 Bar area – remove existing bar benchtop. Supply and install new bar bench top .11 Toilets - Supply and install 1set of Men’s and 1 set of ladies’ chrome ambulant handrails.
.12 Remove existing shower facilities
