Tender Description
Bundaberg Regional Council (Council) is seeking to refresh its Register of Pre-Qualified Suppliers for Wet Hire which expires on 31 May 2024. This is an opportunity for new Suppliers to provide an offer to Council, and for existing pre-qualified suppliers to update their product and price offering in line with the current specifications of this panel refresh.
The register is for Wet Hire (hire with Fuel and operator) and includes but not limited to:
1. the hire of construction plant to assist in works undertaken by the Council, generally within the Regional Council area; and
2. Service and Cable Location services (non-destructive digging).
Hourly, Daily and Weekly rates will be utilised by Council for ad-hoc works under $15,000 (ex GST). In addition to this panel members will be given the opportunity to quote on larger scale works between $15,000 and $200,000 (ex GST).
Suppliers will receive quote requests such as these through the e-procurement platform and will be required to submit and return quotes through the platform.
Any works estimated to be above a $200,000 (ex GST) threshold may be treated as a separate contract and may be tendered independently to the panel.
The selection of a Supplier from the Register, for a particular job, will be at the discretion of Council officers, after consideration of the Suppliers listed details on capability or capacity and factors such as the nature of the work, the likely cost of responding at the required location and the Supplier’s assessed performance on previous works.
Inclusion on the Arrangement does not guarantee assignment of future works or any works.
