Tender Description
Tooram Road drainage serves as a major drainage structure in Allansford. Camera inspection on the culverts between Tooram Road and the outlet near Hopkins River was conducted in September 2020 where it was found that the culverts have collapsed and cracked in multiple locations. As a result, this project has been identified as a priority drainage maintenance works.
The project will involve removal of existing ø825mm class 2 RC culvert and replacement with ø1200mm class 4 RC Pipe, installation of VicRoads Standard headwall near the outlet and geo-fabric near the outlet for slope protection.
The Works are detailed in the Drawings include the following management & construction activities:
- Site safety management, environmental management and quality assurance;
- Planning & programming of contract works;
- Traffic, parking and pedestrian management;
- Liaison with service authorities;
- Deep trench excavation and trench shoring works
- Demolition of existing infrastructure;
- Earthworks;
- Underground drainage construction;
