Port Augusta City Council invites tenders from Tenderers for the supply and installation of solar pathway lighting for Council’s Eastside Coastal Path.

The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

Council has recently constructed a hot mixed asphalt shared use path linking the road network at Vincent Street to the concrete shared path at the railway yards approximately 900mm west. The path has no trees within 3m, has shoulders of approximately 1m either side plus a gradual slope inland, and is level.

Council wished to install public lighting on the new path to support and encourage walking and bicycling in low light.

Council is seeking energy efficient and low maintenance infrastructure. All tender submission with include a simple life cycle costing analysis over at lease 20 years to allow comparison of the relevant benefits of the proposed installation.
