Rookwood Weir Fish Passage Project Notification of Intention to Release a RFO

⁠⁠⁠Objective

Sunwater is seeking to notify suitably experienced and qualified potential Proponents of its intention to release a Request for Offer (RFO) for the Rookwood Weir Fish Passage Project – Fitzroy Barrage Additional Fishway in the coming week.

This is a notification of Sunwater’s intention to release a RFO only, with the actual RFO to be released separately at a later date as indicated below.

Scope Overview

The fish passage is located at the Fitzroy Barrage which is owned by Rockhampton Regional Council and operated by a subsidiary, Fitzroy River Water. The responsibilities of the awarded Contractor will include:

• Design and Implementation of temporary works;
• Site Mobilisation and Establishment;
• Preparatory works (incl. Dilapidation, monitoring and survey);
• Clearing and Grubbing;
• Temporary Works (incl. design) and dewatering (as req.);
• Earthworks;
• Foundations;
• Precast (Supply and Erection);
• Cast insitu concrete works;
• Structural steelwork and access ways; and
• Electrical (incl. design).

Works Location

Fitzroy Barrage, Rockhampton.

Anticipated RFO Release Date

Thursday 15th of December 2022.

Note: The actual RFO release date is at Sunwater’s sole discretion and may vary from the above.

Eligibility Conditions

This opportunity is open to all Contractors that can satisfy the mandatory minimum criteria as detailed in the forthcoming RFO documentation.
