Tender Description
The Townsville City Council (TCC) is responsible for the water supply, management, and operations for the Townsville region.
To increase the water security for the city, TCC is proceeding with Stage 2 of the Haughton Pipeline Duplication Project (the Project).
The Project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government in association with Townsville City Council.
The Project comprises a water transfer pipeline (the pipeline) spanning approximately twenty-eight and a half (28.5) kilometres with the associated pump station to be located at the Burdekin River.
The pipeline will connect to the recently completed Stage 1 and Stage 1.1 Pipeline and will traverse the landscape to the Burdekin River, west of the township of Clare, North Queensland.
Townsville City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced construction contractors for the complete construction, testing, commissioning, and performance proving of the Burdekin Pump Station
