Tender Description
This RFT covers the construction of a 92-space car park at the grounds. The project will be staged, with stage one described in this RFT, which excludes the West Scope (stage 3) and the entrance culvert and intersection, (stage 2). (the option exists to price culvert only portion of stage 2), (scope mark up supplied)
Successful tenderers will be required to,
- Construct a 92-space car parking facility.
- Install surface stabilisation, GeoHex system as detailed in the design, (CVC to supply GeoHex)
- Install stormwater drainage system (CVC will supply pits and pipes)
- Construct access roadways and bus parking in 40mm asphaltic cement as per design,
- Construct parking bays in 30mm asphaltic cement,
- Carry out tree removal and landscaping post construction as per design,
- Install 63mm water main diversion as per design,
- Maintain service access to the canteen facility at the site during construction.
- Match the existing bridges to the newly created car park entrance road. (Culvert replacement to be included in Stage 2 of this project)
- Re-use as much as possible site soil for landscaping scope,
- Strip for re-use of existing asphalt roadway as SMZ, if required,
- Re-use the existing fence panelling as much as feasible.
