Coolgardie Pilot Reprocessing Facility

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Coolgardie is seeking proposals for the design, supply, installation and potentially maintenance and operation of a pilot plastics and tyre reprocessing facility (‘Reprocessing Facility Project’) from reputable, reliable and financially viable and sustainable Respondents. The proposed scope includes:

1. Plastics and Tyre Reprocessing Facility;
2. Syn Gas and/or Biofuel recovery and Treatment;
3. Carbon Black Recovery
4. Technology operate in a closed loop system

It is intended that the Pilot Plastics and Tyre Reprocessing Facility (‘Reprocessing Facility’) that will process up to 1800 tonnes per year of separated plastics and rubber. Proposals must consider a modular and scaleable solution. Respondents are requested to provide information in their proposals on the footprint required for the proposed solution.

The Shire will consider proposals on different business models and commercial bases including:

1. Build, Operate and Maintain (BOM) or
2. Build, Operate, Maintain and Transfer (BOT).
