Tender Description
Burwood Council acknowledges the Wangal Clan of the Eora Nation, the traditional custodians of the area. We pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging. We acknowledge and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and ongoing relationship with the land.
The Burwood Council (“Council”), located between Sydney and Parramatta, is a culturally diverse LGA spanning across seven (7) square kilometres. The area has a population of more than 40,000 residents living across Burwood Heights, Burwood, Croydon, Croydon Park, Enfield and Strathfield. With many parks, retail outlets, schools and community facilities to enjoy, Burwood is a perfect place to live, work and study.
Council is seeking expression of interest from Human Resource Information System (HRIS) solution providers for the implementation of HRIS solution that ideally covers the whole employee lifecycle including:
• Recruitment
• Employee On-boarding and Off-boarding
• Employee Induction
• Learning Management
• Performance Management
• Talent Management and Succession Planning
• Workforce Analytics and Reporting
Additionally, solution providers are also able to comment on their capacity to provide the following additional services:
• Payroll
• Employee Self-Service
• Time and Attendance Management
• Online Timesheets and Rostering Solutions
• Work Health and Safety Management
Council employs about 220 employees in various roles that could be broadly classified as below:
• Fulltime and part-time permanent employees
• Fulltime and part-time contract employees
• Casual employees
The Council invites suitably qualified and experienced organisations to respond to this EOI to implement HRIS Solution for Council in a phased approach based on best practice, after a selective tender process.
