Hawkins Road Forest is located in the Hororata District bordering the Selwyn River approx. 8km from Hororata, 34km to Rolleston and 66km to Port Lyttleton.
The Forest has a total land area of 38.6 hectares of which approx. 24.5.ha was planted in Pinus Radiata in 1995. The crop has been thinned in 2001, but has not been pruned. The property is currently registered under the stock change method in ETS scheme with NZUs having been claimed by the current vendor.
This is an ideal opportunity to secure a carbon earning forest for passive income into the future and capitalizing on any future lifts in carbon price!
