Tender Description
Bega Valley Shire Council is the owner of Merimbula Airport located 5Km south of Merimbula in the local government regional area known as the Bega Valley. An area located on the far south coast of NSW, comprising of coastal tourism, agricultural hinterland and mountainous national park / forestry regions. There are four main population centres ranging in size from 4,000 to 8,000 people and numerous smaller villages.
Council is seeking a contractor who will be required to assume the role of Airport Manager and be required to develop and maintain the aviation operational and commercial viability of the airside facilities at all times to the performance standard agreed with the Council.
