Tender Description
The Department of Industry, Tourism and Trade, on behalf of Tourism NT (“TNT”) is seeking a service provider to deliver tourism enterprise activities based on the seven pillars identified in the TNT Tourism Business Development Program.
Objectives of the Activity:
To support Top End based tourism businesses development through the delivery of the TNT Tourism Business Development Program.
The Pillars are:
1. Business Essentials;
2. Digital Marketing;
3. Social Media & PR;
4. Distribution;
5. Industry Connectivity;
6. Quality and Excellence; and
7. Export Ready.
Detailed Description of the Activity:
The Contractor will be required to:
1. Conduct regular meetings to create new, or update existing action plans to strengthen the business in accordance with the pillars, with the following operator types:
a) Accommodation;
b) Food and Drink (bookable and/or packaged products only);
c) Attraction (includes art galleries);
d) Hire (includes vehicles, motorhomes, camper trailers, etc);
e) Tour (includes retail audio guides); and
f) Transport.
2. Complete a minimum of 200 identified action plans (a minimum of 3 action items per action plan) during the contract period.
3. Use the PowerApps diagnostic tool provided by TNT when engaging with operators to accurately capture the following data set:
a) All operator account and general survey fields;
b) Benchmark status’ and corresponding support resources;
c) Agreed action plan; and
d) Follow up process.
4. Attend a monthly progress meeting with Tourism NT. Assist with both the delivery of the meeting and in delivering identified actions.
