Tender Description
Scope of Work
The contractor will be required to:
- Carry out the construction to maintain airport operations, either during the day, at night or a mixture as appropriate
- Ensure that all lighting is available at all times it is required, and any interruptions are planned, managed and communicated in advance
- Provide timely input into a Method of Working Plan to achieve the above
- Supply all materials
- Commission to RTIO and CASA requirements including flight testing
Gudai-Darri only
- Installation of runway lighting including lights, cable, conduit, pits and apron floodlights including:
- Trench, lay conduit and backfill, install primary cable
- Install polycrete transformer pits and stabilised sand backfill
- Supply and install LED lights and transformers
- Remove existing airside lighting electrical cubicle and control equipment and replace with new, reusing the installed equipment where possible (CCR etc)
- Install 3x apron floodlight towers including lights, footings etc
- Illuminate the secondary windsocks
Paraburdoo only:
- Replacement of approximately 10km of primary AGL and PAPI cabling, ground lighting and control equipment including:
- Remove existing cabling from conduit and replace with new cabling utilising existing conduit
- Remove existing transformer pits and replace with polycrete pits and stabilised sand backfill
- Remove existing lights and transformers and replace with new LED lights, transformers and bases, including LED PAPI
- Remove existing airside lighting electrical cubicle and control equipment and replace with new
- Upgrade existing mains cable to airside lighting electrical cubicle
