⁠⁠⁠A 12-month lease is available for a vendor to offer take away food and beverage options at Thomas H Halton Park at Croudace Bay. This will enhance the visitor experience at one of the city’s premier recreational and cultural precincts.  

The location, allocated adjacent to the playground at the park, provides a great opportunity for a mobile vendor, or local business, to have a semi-permanent kiosk/cafe set up on a 12-month trial in one of the city’s exciting new public spaces.

A key point of difference for this lease offering is the opportunity for a mobile vendor, or semi-permanent structure, to be set up in a new blank area with no existing structure, away from the car park and roadside.  

Expressions of interest should demonstrate the assessment criteria including:

1. Previous experience (two years or more) operating a mobile vendor/café/kiosk
2. Proposed variety, quality, price and type of menus offered
3. Demonstrated financial capacity to undertake and sustain business operations
4. Opening hours and staffing
5. Visual imagery/designs of the proposed premises products will be sold from
6. Accessible and inclusive to all members of the community
7. Sustainability practices and values
