Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. The Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community.
Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance our quality of life, promote sustainable development and protect our environment.
SERVICE REQUIRED:
Northern Beaches Council (Council) invites Expressions of Interest to understand solutions and methodologies in the marketplace to monitor and report on the performance of Northern Beaches Council owned and operated solar and battery systems. Following identification of suitable monitoring solutions in the market, Council may undertake another procurement stage to progress to appoint a suitable service provider. Council is under no obligation to proceed to the next stages.
The expected outcome of the full procurement process (if Council proceeds to that stage) is to provide a web-based, centralised solar and battery performance monitoring solution for Council owned and operated solar and battery systems. This will assist Council in reporting on solar energy generation at a site-by-site level and organisational level as well as timely identification and notification of system malfunction and suboptimal performance.
The purpose of this EOI is to seek submissions for concepts/methodologies/monitoring solutions to provide a suitable monitoring and reporting solution for Council-owned and operated solar and battery systems, from applicants with a proven ability and experience in the required services outlined in detail in Part B of the EOI.
