Kerbside Recycling and Food Scraps Collections

⁠⁠⁠Whanganui District Council (WDC) is inviting tenders from suitably experienced contractors to deliver household kerbside recycling and food scraps collection services to its residents.

The scope of work includes but is not restricted to the following services;
Collection Services:
- Household kerbside dry recycling collection
- Household kerbside food scraps collection
- Household kerbside rubbish collection.

Processing:
- Material recovery facility (MRF)/material processing/sale of recyclable materials
- Food scraps processing/sale of end product.

Containers:
- Container provision and delivery/service rollout
- Container maintenance and replacements.

Communications:
- Input into general communication and public engagement via Council
- Input into responses to relevant public enquiries via Council
- Delivery of communication material as required.

Enquiries regarding any aspect of the tender documents must be submitted in writing via e-mail to Lana Treen, Senior Procurement Officer, at lana.treen@whanganui.govt.nz no later than three working days before the tender closing date.
