Taumatahinau is situated near the East coast in the Northland District. Access to the block is at the end of Waiotu Road, Hukerenui, 45kms from Northland's largest city Whangarei.
Taumatahinau is approximately 483.59ha comprising of 443.59ha of established native bush and the remaining 40ha of mixed age Pinus Radiata at the front of the block.
The trees are of mixed age class planted between 1991 and 2019 along with a stand of cutover ready for re-planting. Roading through the plantation is of high standard and well established with the block already having gone through two rotations.
