Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment -Registration of Interest. RW Corkery & Co. Pty Ltd has commissioned Austral Archaeology Pty Ltd (Austral) to undertake an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment (ACHA) in regard to the proposed extension of the extraction area within the Dunbogan Sand Quarry (Lot 154 DP754405 and Lot 2 DP1083711), Dunbogan, NSW. On behalf of the proponent, Austral wishes to re-establish consultation with Aboriginal people to assist with a cultural heritage assessment which may result in an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP). Consultation is required to assist the Director General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) in his or her consideration of the application. Consultation will be accordance with the DPC's Consultation Requirements 2010. Parties with cultural knowledge relevant to the significance of Aboriginal object(s) and/ or place(s) are invited to register their interest. More information about the project will be provided after registration.
