Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Project involves the delivery of three (3)  packages of work at Robertson Barracks, NT.

 
Package One – Construction of six (6) Living-In Accommodation (LIA) buildings and associated works.
 
Package Two – Construction of Messing facilities and associated works.
 
Package Three – Mid-term refreshment and site works including hydraulics and electrical.
 
The estimated value of the packages is as follows:
 
  • Package One – between $155m and $165m;
  • Package Two – between $80m and $90m; and
  • Package Three – between $40m and $45m.

Industry Briefing
 
An industry briefing will be conducted on 30 November 2022 at 0930 AEDT via Microsoft Teams.

Building Code 2016
 
The Building Code 2016 applies.  If the Building Code 2016 applies then by lodging a Registration of Interest, the Applicant will become subject to the Building Code 2016.

WHS Accreditation Scheme
 
The WHS Accreditation Scheme pursuant to the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth) applies.  Further information regarding the WHS Accreditation Scheme is provided in the Invitation to Register Interest.
 
Indigenous Procurement Policy
 
The Australian Government's new Indigenous Procurement Policy took effect on 1 July 2015.  If relevant, further information regarding the Indigenous Procurement Policy is provided in the Invitation to Register Interest.
 
Joint Bids
 
The Commonwealth does offer applicants an opportunity to lodge a Registration of Interest on a Joint Bid Basis.  Further information regarding Joint Bids is provided in the Invitation to Register Interest.
 
PWC Act
 
The works described in the Invitation to Register Interest are a "public work" and therefore subject to section 18 of the Public Works Committee Act 1969 (Cth).
