TRC has identified the need for the Rehabilitation of a 1.8km section of DN375 CICL potable water trunk main that supports the trunk network in East Tamworth. Tamworth Regional Council is looking for competent, experienced contractors with proven technologies to rehabilitate this section of trunk main.

The 1.8 km section of trunk main is located within the current road reserve or Carthage St East Tamworth and is generally under the traffic lane or the pavement shoulder. The road reserve is also occupied by a significant number of services including telecommunications lines (copper and optic fibre), aerial power transmission and distribution lines, natural gas, sewer and stormwater infrastructure. The scope of work under the Contract is the rehabilitation of the existing DN375 CICL trunk main section via a Design and Construct engagement, using a combination of trenchless relining and conventional open excavation construction methods.

A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on Tuesday, 13 December 2022.
