Objective
Sunwater is seeking to notify suitably experienced and qualified potential Proponents of its intention to release an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Foleyvale Crossing Project in the coming week.
This is a notification of Sunwaters intention to release an EOI only, with the actual EOI to be released separately at a later date.
Scope Overview
The Folyvaley Crossing Project is an enabling project of the Rockwood Weir Project, which will provide a new state-controlled crossing of the Mackenzie River located upstream of Rookwood Weir. The Works include but are not limited to:
- A new 5 span 90m long prestressed plank bridge with insitu slab
- Bridge bored piling
- Earthworks to form a new roadway
- Embankment construction
- Concrete pavement for approach roads
- Unbound, sprayed seal pavements
- Construction of a new diversion challenge (incl. rock placement)
- Landscaping and revegetation of exposed batters
- Temporary works (incl. rock platforms crossing)
Works Location
Foleyvale Crossing is located on Apis Creek Road, 23.4 km north of the township of Duaringa, and 135 km west of Rockhampton.
Anticipated EOI Release Date
Thursday 24th of November 2022.
Note: The actual EOI release date is at Sunwater’s sole discretion and may vary from the above.
Eligibility Conditions
This opportunity is open to all Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) Pre-Qualified (National Prequalification System for Civil (Road and Bridge) Construction Contracts) Contractors that can satisfy the mandatory minimum criteria as detailed in the forthcoming EOI documentation.
