WA005 Bell Block Roundabout & WA006 Fitzroy Watermain Renewals

⁠⁠⁠NPDC is seeking the pipe installation and commissioning, and the decommissioning of the abandoned assets.

The contractor should construct and deliver the work as outlined in the contract documents

The contract consists of two portions, Portion A is for WA005 Bell Block round-about and Portion B is for WA006 Fitzroy-Devon St water main renewals.
The conditions of the contract will be NEC4 Engineering Construction Contract (Option B)
1. The contractor should be a blue card holder with NPDC
2. The contractor should have demonstrated experience in the pipe installation water main renewal
3. The contractor should be familiar with NZS:4404 (Local Amendments version 3)

Traffic Management Plan costs are to be set out as provisional sums (PS) in the schedule of prices during the tendering. Contractors will submit the safest way they will carry out the works, and the cost of traffic management will be agreed upon with the prefer tenderer.
All High-Risk work identified before or during construction will be notified to WorkSafe accordingly and audited by NPDC for contractor's performance.
