Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠This tender is for interested parties to submit an offer to council for road and civil construction services as required by Council from time to time over a five-year period. The engagement of any contractor will not be for indefinite periods, and Council reserves the right to engage more than one contractor or any number of Contractors.

The following categories will form the basis of the prequalified supplier arrangement. The activities listed under each category are an indication of the types of services that may be required, however this specification is not limited to these activities. Specific requirements will be provided on a project-by-project basis, and all works shall comply with these requirements as well as any applicable Legislation, Australian Standard, or other relevant Standard.

Category A - Road Construction

• Rural - unsealed

• Urban - sealed

Category B - Road Maintenance

• Reseals

• Resheeting

• Stabilisation

• Maintenance grading

• Culvert installation and maintenance

Category C – General Civil Construction and Maintenance Services

• General civil construction works

• Concrete and general maintenance works

• General earthworks

Category D - Traffic Control

• Provision of traffic control

• Provision of Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)

• Provision of Traffic Guidance Scheme (TGS)
