Re: Griffith University: Construction Panel Refresh 2022

Griffith University is a large and complex organisation, delivering the core components of Learning and Teaching and Research across all disciplines and serving and supporting approximately 50,000 students across five physical campuses.

The University has a building asset portfolio containing more than 150 building assets and associated fixed plant and equipment across its five campuses with a gross floor area more than 500,000 square metres. This includes a diverse range of building classifications including state of the art research facilities. Griffith University has decided to refresh the existing Construction Panels. Tier 2 and Tier 3 contractors are invited to submit an Expression of Interest to become a member of one or more of these Construction Panel/s depending on the company’s capability.

The four Panels are:

•Managing Contractor (Design and Construct)

•Design and Construct

•Construct only

•Refurbishments and/or fit-out/Minor works

Expression of Interest (EOI) will be released on 11 November 2022 and closing on Friday 2 December 2022 at 2pm.

Please note, that by submitting a response to the EOI this does not automatically place the Contractor on any of the Prequalified Construction Panel/s. The shortlist will be determined by response/evaluation to the nominated capability criteria and successful reference and financial health checks.

The pre-qualified panel term will be three (3) years with an option of two (2) x one (1) year extensions up to an accumulated maximum total of five (5) years. An annual review may be conducted at the sole discretion of Griffith University. University reserves the right to add and/or remove contractor(s) from the Panel throughout the term of the Pre-Qualified Panel at its sole discretion following the annual review. Contractor(s) may be removed at any time for contractual breaches, provided the applicable contract protocols for removal (if any) are observed.

Successfully being listed on the Griffith University Construction Panel does not guarantee your company an allocation of work, however we endeavour to forge strong relationships with our panel contractors. Any queries relating to the Expression of Interest documents (if any) shall be submitted via VendorPanel only.

The University reserves the right to seek additional information and/or clarification of any information provided by any organisation submitting an Expression of Interest and to seek the views of referees nominated herein and the organisations associated with any projects included in any documentation submitted with the Expression of

Interest to assist it in assessing the submission.
