Tender Description
ANSTO has committed to the renewal of the Lucas Heights’ site within its 2035 Master Site Redevelopment Plan. The identified work includes upgrades to site infrastructure, new facilities and buildings.
Renewal of the Site will inevitably involve demolition activities of aging infrastructure, facilities and buildings identified to have non-nuclear characteristics and which is the subject of this Specification.
The ANSTO Decommissioning Portfolio has committed to a 4-year, non-nuclear demolition program to ensure that buildings and building services requiring demolition and removal can be managed and completed in a safe, timely and cost-efficient manner within a standardised framework.
ANSTO operates from a Site at Lucas Heights in NSW. Access to this Site is controlled. The area covered by the Specification for the proposed Panel is the ANSTO Lucas Heights site at New Illawarra Road, Lucas Heights NSW 2234. This site is approximately 56 hectares, with about 90 buildings, including office buildings, production facilities, pilot plants, engineering workshops and science laboratories (the “Site”).
ANSTO is seeking Contractors to be included on a Panel for non-nuclear demolition work.
