Tender Description
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) is seeking to engage an experienced, qualified contaminated land consultant and remediation contractor to provide Environment Management Monitoring Services in line with the Environment Management Plan for the Property Asset Management group.
These services are required for the property located at Lot 1 Newton Street Silverwater NSW 2128 (Lot 1 DP 713708). An experienced and qualified environmental consultant is required to monitor hazardous ground gasses and groundwater impact associated with the property.
The scope of works includes, but not is not limited to the following:
• Preparation of Work, Health and Safety (WHS) Plan.
• Implement and report outcomes as outlined within the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) – Former Silverwater Landfill, Carnarvon Street, Silverwater (EES,2021). EMP Compliance Monitoring including but not limited to:
- Subsurface gas monitoring
- Service pit monitoring
- Landfill cap walkovers
- Monthly and other reporting
- Updates to the EMP
- Surface water management
- Dewatering System
- Bi-monthly verification monitoring
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Plan
- Project Communication & Meetings
- EPA Correspondence and associated meetings
• Develop an annual planned works program, outlining the proposed monthly actions, staffing, costs, and contingency.
• Act as the main point of contact for EPA correspondence and associated meetings.
• Work collaboratively with other site contractors appointed on the site, Landfill Gas Industries (LGI) and the site auditor to review and evaluate the quality of periodic data gathered and identify any potential efficiencies or corrective actions, associated with the Land Fill Gas (LFG) extraction system
