Ausgrid are undertaking an Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment for the proposed replacement of electrical transmission towers between Taren Point (NSW 2229) and Kurnell (NSW 2231) along Woolooware Bay, Captain Cook Drive and within a number of other allotments. This may result in application for an Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit [AHIP] under s90 of the National Parks & Wildlife Act 1974.
Registrations of interest are sought from Aboriginal people with cultural knowledge relevant to determining the significance of Aboriginal objects at this location. This will assist the proponent in preparing the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessment and AHIP application and Heritage NSW in determining the application.
