Paterson Region Seismic Survey 2023
Tender ID: 511156
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DMIRS) manages the Western Australia Exploration Incentive Scheme (EIS) — a State Government initiative that aims to encourage exploration in Western Australia for the long-term sustainability of the State’s resources sector. A major component of the EIS is the acquisition of new geophysical data, with programs managed by the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA), a division of DMIRS.
GSWA proposes to conduct one or more high-resolution seismic transects of aggregate length of about 170 km in the remote Paterson region in the northwest of Western Australia (Figure 1). The objective of the survey is to provide improved structural resolution in the survey area, and to enhance the understanding of the Barnicarndy Graben as a potential site for geosequestration.
Separate contracts may be awarded for acquisition and processing. Respondents are invited to tender for acquisition only, for acquisition and processing combined, or for post-acquisition data processing only.
