Preferred Supplier Panel for Spatial Imagery Services 2022 - 2027

⁠⁠⁠DEW projects (or SA Government projects where DEW is a key stakeholder) increasingly require a range of spatial imagery options to support environmental management decision making. Spatial imagery services required under the panel includes:-

• the acquisition of digital aerial or high resolution satellite imagery from precision sensors to a high degree of accuracy;
• the processing of acquired imagery into GIS-ready formats for integration with other spatial datasets (e.g. orthorectification, image mosaicking) and for use in web applications / delivery services;
• the acquisition and analysis of precision elevation datasets from LiDAR Light Detection and Ranging), RADAR (Radio Detecting and Ranging) and photogrammetrically derived aerial imagery;
• the analysis of these datasets to provide products that can be used to yield additional information (e.g. vegetation indices, landcover classification, flood inundation and modelling); and
• the precision scanning of the DEW Historical Aerial Photography Library for document preservation, discoverability and use to provide an historical context to environmental projects.
